2017年2月11日に”Egypt-Japan Multidisciplinary Science Forum”がJSPSAAE主催のもと開催された。本会議内で水資源利用、マテリアルサイエンスに関するバイオテクノロジー分野の主要な3名の日本人科学者（下記画像参照）を招き、その3名による主要な研究成果の発表が行われた。本会議は学術的な研究スタッフ、研究所・大学の学生を含む100名以上が参加した。
On Feb 11th, 2017, JSPSAAE had organized one day symposium under the title of: Egypt-Japan Multidisciplinary Science Forum, “Beyond the Border” hosted by the National Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG). In this event, we invited three prominent Japanese scientists alongside with Egyptian professors in the field of nanobiotechnology, water management and material science. They enriched the meeting and presented useful topics and important research results. The event attracted more than 100 participants, including academic and research staff, graduate and undergraduate students from universities and research institutions as well as alumni members, from around Egypt. The symposium was followed by the Annual general assembly of JSPSAAE, while JSPS Cairo Research Station had arranged a gala dinner for the guests and Alumni members and speakers.
