We also talked about the launch of the ASEAN–Africa Program (Pre-Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan, Short-term PA) and explored ways to expand our network across North Africa, including the idea of establishing JSPS Alumni North Africa.

JSPS Alumni Egypt and JSPS Cairo Research Station will be committed not only to strengthening academic collaboration between Japan and Egypt, but also to extending our activities across North Africa and the wider Islamic world for broader scholarly exchange.
