The meeting with Prof. Mobarak Al-Majthoub, Chair of the Federation of Arab Scientific Research (FASRC) was held at the Headquarters of the Arab League on Apr.15, 2014.
The Japanese delegation consisted of the director of Culture and Information Center, Embassy of Japan in Egypt, and the director of JICA Cairo Office, and the director of JSPS Cairo Research Station.
In the briefing, the Japanese side presented JICA programs and JSPS programs related to the international collaborations, in the framework of Japan-Arab cooperations, especially in the existing program schemes which researchers or research institutes in Arab countries were able to use effectively.
